Hi Gina,
Sorry it’s taken so long to get back to you on the blog, our email notifications about comments don’t seem to be coming through but I’m pretty sure we’ve given you all the details via email since you posted this?

Hi Siobhan,
It’s a real shame to not be running the dig this year, but 2019 should be really good when we’ve got it all confirmed! Drop us an email to trainingdig@yorkat.co.uk if you want us to pop you on the interest list for 2019 news when we have it.
Fortunately York is a beautiful and vibrant city so you won’t be short of things to do now you’re in the area!

I just moved to York at the end of last summer and was really looking forward to a dig! I’ll have to look around for something else or just wait until 2019.

Hi Margaret,

It’s always fun when objects like these crop up in the garden. Who knew a bottle could have such an interesting story!

He is 3years old and was going to throw it away but because it was so cute a wee bottle I brought it home and cleaned it. The cork was inside it and to get it out I had pierce it into small pieces, I should maybe have let it stay but lovely little bottle.
